Jamie Moyer tossed seven strong innings on Monday night as the Philadelphia Phillies hammered the Arizona Diamondbacks 11-4.  Moyer who pitched pretty much in the low 80′s in the came kept the Diamondbacks hitters off balanced as he improved his record to 2-2 on the season.

Eric Bruntlett led the Phillies at the plate with three RBI.  Ryan Howard wasn’t too far behind as he finished the game with two RBI.  Geoff Jenkins, Carlos Ruiz, Greg Dobbs, and Moyer all had one RBI in the game as well.  The Phillies could have made the score a lot worse, but they left 31 base runners on base in the game.

With the win, the Phillies are now 19-14 on the season.  They will play the Diamondbacks once again on Tuesday.
